Bonnier Publishing today announces that Ben Dunn has resigned as M.D. of Kings Road Publishing.

Dunn joined the company in 2015 as M.D. of Blink Publishing, before being promoted to M.D. of Kings Road Publishing in November 2017, overseeing the company’s adult non-fiction imprints – Blink Publishing, John Blake and Lagom – and children’s imprints – Studio Press, Templar and Weldon Owen – with the support of Head of Children’s Publishing, Lisa Edwards.

During his time at the company, Dunn has lead key acquisitions including Robbie Williams, Roger Daltrey and Lily Allen.

Prior to joining Bonnier Publishing, Dunn spent six years at Penguin Random House UK, during which he published commercial, non-fiction titles and celebrity memoirs for names such as Steve Coogan, David Jason and Russell Brand.

I have loved my two and a half years at Bonnier Publishing; some great books and some even better people…

-Ben Dunn

Dunn said: “I have loved my two and a half years at Bonnier Publishing; some great books and some even better people; I’ll miss them all, but I have decided to take a new step in my professional life.”

Perminder Mann, CEO of Bonnier Publishing UK, said: “During his time with us, Ben has helped to reposition Blink from a niche imprint to a well-respected publisher of multiple genres, broadening its list and attracting talent from across the music, TV, film and sport and food industries. Latterly, as M.D. of Kings Road Publishing, Ben has had a great impact on the business; successfully steering the development of our five adult and children’s imprints based in Chelsea.

Ben’s passion and enthusiasm will be greatly missed and I wish him all the best for his future career.”

Dunn will leave the company on the 18th July.
