Ronnie O’Sullivan OBE is regarded as one of the greatest snooker players of all time, his record in Triple Crown events stands at five World Championships, seven masters and a joint record six UK Championship titles. O’Sullivan has won 32 ranking titles and has held the world number one ranking on multiple occasions. The hard work and complete dedication needed to maintain this level of excellence is gruelling and, in Top of Your Game, Ronnie and Rhiannon show readers how to eat, think and work your way to being number one – and how to stay there.

Two years ago Ronnie hit a wall with his physical and mental wellbeing, an injury meant he wasn’t able to run, something he had always done and as a result he gained weight, was over exercising and eating all the wrong things. After consulting with Rhiannon Lambert and learning about nutrition, Ronnie realised he needed to overhaul his diet to regain and maintain the peak physical and mental health that has kept him at the top for years. Ronnie started following a new diet which showed him what to eat in order to get the very best out of himself.

It’s all about eating great food, pacing yourself, recuperating and knowing your mental health is just as important as your physical health.

Top of Your Game is a one stop shop for living better, eating healthier and feeding your brain to enhance your performance. As well as being packed with delicious recipes written by Ronnie and Rhiannon, this book will focus on how food directly links to brain health, enhancing concentration and mental sharpness as well as combatting insomnia, anxiety and learning how to digitally detox.

Ronnie said: “When it comes to snooker, I should be on the way down by now, but here I am in my 40’s still competing at the top of the game and fitter than ever. I truly believe what you eat keeps you young and in prime position. There are kids half my age competing and they can’t concentrate because they eat rubbish and never put down their phones! It’s all about eating great food, pacing yourself, recuperating and knowing your mental health is just as important as your physical health. The biggest gains are made when you fuel yourself well, exercise regularly and you rest – thinking this way has changed my life.”
