Bonnier Books UK hosted its inaugural Adult Fiction showcase on the evening of Wednesday 8th November.
Set up by the adult trade PR team, the event introduced a breadth of key upcoming titles to media and influencers, through an engaging evening of 2024 previews, exclusive announcements, activities, limited edition proofs and goodies.
Authors in attendance included Anne Corlett, Hanako Footman, Stacey Halls, Leanne O’Donnell and Marie Tierney. Videos were provided by Isabel Banta and Susie Dent about their forthcoming novels.
Attended by the divisional MDs Sarah Benton and Tim Whiting, the evening brought together authors from across the Zaffre Publishing Group and Black & White Publishing Group for the first time. External guests for the event included journalists, bloggers, broadcasters, events programmers and retailers.
Writer and podcaster Bethany Rutter hosted the evening, which consisted of author Q&As, readings, themed activity stations, exclusive early content, games and prizes.
Attendees at the event were also given exclusive early access to the announcement of the debut murder mystery from Countdown’s Susie Dent, which is announced more widely today.
Guests were invited to take proofs and goodie bags away with them at the end of the evening.
