Bonnier Books UK has today announced the appointment of Sarah Posner in the newly-created role of publishing innovation manager.
Posner joins from Oxford University Press, where she worked for five years in the editorial teams across academic, education and most recently English Language teaching as a senior editor. She was also the content lead for accessibility, ensuring best practice amongst colleagues, and promoting innovation and experimentation across the business to meet the needs of today’s market and student expectations.
The new role will see Posner work closely with Bonnier Books UK co-CEO Sarah Benton and CIO Nick Wright, alongside international colleagues across the Bonnier Group, to integrate and test new technologies within the publishing process; establish best practice and learning between teams; and facilitate ethical and structured use of AI that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives while protecting the IP and copyright of its authors, illustrators and creators.
