John Blake has acquired an as-yet-untitled memoir from Luis Elizondo, the former head of the U.S. Government’s highly sensitive UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) programme, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).
Senior Editor James Hodgkinson has acquired UK and Commonwealth rights for John Blake. Luis Elizondo was represented by Dan Farah of Farah Films & Management and Yfat Reiss Gendell of YRG Partners in Literary & Media.
The memoir promises to reveal shocking never-before-shared details regarding what Elizondo has learned about UAPs and the profound implications for humanity, all of which will escalate what is already a hot-topic globally.
Elizondo was recently featured in CBS’s 60 Minutes’ unprecedented story about UFOs, which is already one of the most viewed 60 Minutes stories of all time.
Following the Pentagon’s recent historic report to Congress regarding UFOs, Elizondo was quoted saying, “The American people now know a small portion of what I and my colleagues in the Pentagon have been privy to: That these UAP (unidentified ariel phenomenon) are not secret U.S. technology, that they do not seem to belong to any known allies or adversaries, and that our intelligence services have yet to identify a terrestrial explanation for these extraordinary vehicles. This conversation is only just beginning.”
Elizondo spent the majority of his accomplished military career as a senior Intelligence Officer, hunting drug traffickers, terrorists, and spies around the world on behalf of the U.S. government and various branches of the military. In 2008, he was asked to be part of the Pentagon’s secretive UAP program, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and in 2010 he assumed the position as its Director. In that capacity, Elizondo led the U.S Government’s effort to study UAPs around the world. In 2017, he resigned from his position in protest of excessive government secrecy regarding UAPs. Since then, he has led the global disclosure effort.
As a civilian with high-level national security clearances, Elizondo is widely viewed as the most credible expert in the world regarding UAPs and UFOs and is currently advising certain elements within the U.S. Government and other nations on their investigation of UAP, disclosure, and related matters, while devoting a great deal of time to informing the public about the topic.
In November 2021, GQ UK named Elizondo one of the Heroes of 2021 for his impact on culture and society, and People Magazine recently included Elizondo on their list of “100 Reasons to Love America in 2021”.
