Bonnier Books UK is today relaunching its health and lifestyle imprint, Lagom under editorial director Michelle Signore. As part of the relaunch the imprint has unveiled a new brand identity and several new titles for its 2022 list.

Previously launched in 2017, the new look Lagom will publish a carefully curated list of around ten titles each year focusing on physical and mental wellbeing.

The word Lagom is derived from a Swedish philosophy meaning ‘not too much, not too little’, evoking a sense of balance in life – and takes its inspiration from the company’s Swedish heritage.

The 2022 list features expert voices and content which taps into the zeitgeist. It will span areas of publishing such as nutrition, fitness, parenting, mental health and relationships, and forms the blueprint for years to come.

Signore said: ‘It is so exciting to be relaunching the health and lifestyle list here at Bonnier Books UK. Now more than ever, people are searching for ways to recalibrate – whether that’s through a greater understanding of how our minds and bodies work, or whether it’s a shifting in perspective about how we relate to the world around us. At Lagom, we aim to publish books that inspire, empower and support our readers and which can offer practical tools to help them find that balance, be that in mind, body or spirit.

‘We have got off to a fabulous start! I’m so delighted to have brought parenting expert Kate Silverton and nutritionist Amelia Freer to the Lagom list – more details to come on those this year.’
