Bonnier Books UK to publish third volume of the hit comedy wildlife awards series

Bonnier Books UK senior editor Joel Simons acquired World All Language rights from Natalie Galustian at DHH Literary Agency.

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is one of the most popular celebrations of animal welfare and receives thousands of entries every year. The awards celebrate animals in their natural habitats being themselves. The awards are backed by the global conservation charity Born Free and applaud the tireless effort made by some of the most talented wildlife photographers on the planet.

“The work the competition does to raise awareness on animal conservation is unbelievably important and feels more timely this year than ever before.”

Following the success of 2018’s Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, founders Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam return with more of the best — and never-seen-before — photographs of wildlife ever printed. The Comedy Wildlife Awards Competition closes on June 30 and the final cover will be selected from shortlisted entries.

Joel Simons, senior editor at Bonnier Books UK, said: “I’m delighted to be working with the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards team again on another wonderful collection of images from around the world! The work the competition does to raise awareness on animal conservation is unbelievably important and feels more timely this year than ever before. The competition and the accompanying book are a wonderful celebration of global wildlife and a reminder that, beyond the doom and gloom around climate change, there is a world of wildlife out there to be celebrated and adored.”

Comedy Wildlife Vol. 3 will publish this Autumn under the 535 imprint.
