Helen has worked for more years than she cares to remember in the world of publishing and marketing, for names as diverse as Waterstones, Bertelsmann, Little Tiger and — of course — Bonnier Books UK.

Today she sits in a dark office writing lots of emails before returning home to a drafty house in Dorking – which is much nicer than it sounds.

She has an unusual son who is one of her key achievements along with the acquisition of the Harry Potter Colouring Book series and the publication of the Reader’s Digest million–selling DIY manual. She still struggles to wire a plug.

Helen has also written numerous books, but none will ever be read by anyone over five years of age.
