On recording the audiobook, Richard Armitage said: ‘What a fantastic book this was to narrate. Tim’s writing is so compelling and just keeps you buckled in for a rollercoaster of suspense. The set-up, a teenage boy missing his curfew, is all too real and it launches the story off on a series of cataclysmic events that change the lives of five families forever. Accessing the emotions and motivations driving the characters has been extremely rewarding.’
T.M. Logan said: ‘I’ve been a fan of Richard’s work for years and he’s absolutely perfect for The Curfew! He’s such a hugely talented actor and brings so much to the telling of this story – I couldn’t be more thrilled that he’s narrating the audiobook.’
Laura Makela, managing editor – audio at Bonnier Books UK, added: ‘The minute I read The Curfew, I could hear Richard’s voice narrating. His skilled pacing, captivating tone and flawless performance enrich the characters and enhance the suspense which are so integral to T.M. Logan’s writing. Richard has helped us to go the extra mile in the production to create an exceptional and memorable audio experience.’
The Curfew is the latest thriller from the million-copy Sunday Times bestselling author T.M. Logan. Logan’s well-known title The Holiday was a Richard and Judy pick, remained in the Sunday Times top 10 for ten weeks, and has most recently been adapted into a Channel 5 television series, set to release 1st March and later in the year to Netflix.
