Embla Books, the digital-first imprint of Bonnier Books UK, has acquired two new domestic psychological thrillers by bestselling author Dandy Smith.
Martina Arzu, Publishing Director, acquired World English Language rights from Thérèse Coen at Susanna Lea Agency.
The first in the contract, Every Little Lie, will be published in eBook on 12th November 2026, with paperback following on 11th February 2027. The second in the contract is scheduled for 2028. This new contract coincides with Smith selling over 1 million copies total across her four books. Her debut, The Wrong Daughter, was an instant digital bestseller and has sold well over 500,000 copies since its release in January 2024.
Every Little Lie follows Tori, who thought the worst thing that could happen was losing her best friend. She was wrong.
