Manilla Press, the boutique literary imprint of Bonnier Books UK, has acquired a ‘dazzling’ exploration of female friendship, desire, and freedom by US debut author, Rowan Beaird.
Publishing Director Sophie Orme acquired UK and Commonwealth English language rights (excluding Canada) for The Divorcées from Kerry Nordling at St Martin’s Press.
In 1951, unhappiness is hardly grounds for divorce – except at the divorce ranches of Reno, Nevada.
