Morrison joins Echo as associate publisher
Echo Publishing has appointed Tegan Morrison as associate publisher.
Morrison has 20 years’ experience in the industry across adult fiction, non-fiction, children’s and YA publishing, including roles at HarperCollins Australia, Penguin Books Australia and Hachette Australia. She has worked with authors including Shaun Tan, Melina Marchetta, Paul Ham, Cathy Freeman, Ursula Dubosarsky and Morris Gleitzman.

Most recently, Morrison was a publishing consultant at independent publisher Brio Books, and prior to that was associate publisher for ABC children’s books at HarperCollins Australia.

Morrison replaces Angela Meyer who, after five years, left the imprint in October to pursue her writing career.
Morrison will commence her new role in January 2020 and will be based at Echo’s new office in Chatswood, Sydney.
