Bonnier Books UK’s Zaffre Publishing Group is celebrating two landmark Nielsen Award wins for authors T.M. Logan and Stacey Halls, for their novels The Holiday (Zaffre) and The Familiars (Manilla) respectively.
The award ceremony was held last night on Monday 22nd January, where Logan received a Gold award and Halls received a Silver award.
This is Logan’s fifth Nielsen award, previously having received silver awards for Lies, 29 Seconds, The Catch and The Holiday. His latest novel, The Dream Home, is set to publish late February. Halls’ award comes in time for the reissue of The Familiars which publishes next month, marking five years since the original publication with a stunning new package. Her hotly anticipated fourth new novel The Household arrives in April.
The Nielsen Book Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards are presented to publishers and authors of books that achieved outstanding sales through the UK retail book trade. Any one title, in all its print and e-book editions, that have sold more than 250,000 copies (Silver), 500,000 copies (Gold) or 1,000,000 copies (Platinum) over a period of five consecutive years qualified for an award.
