Zaffre signs up Patricia Wilson for another sweeping, dual-narrative novel set in Greece
Zaffre, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, will be publishing their fifth novel with Patricia Wilson in April 2021.
Senior editor Sarah Bauer acquired all language, film and TV rights and said: “After the year we’ve all had, I am more thrilled than ever to dive into another fantastic novel from Patricia – once again readers will be swept away to the beautiful Greek shores. When escapism is so desperately needed, it is wonderful to be working with the queen of the genre once again.”
Patricia Wilson said: “I am delighted to be working with Sarah Bauer and the whole wonderful team at Zaffre once again. I was inspired to write my next novel, Summer in Greece, from learning about the story of the HMHS Britannic, sister ship to the HMS Titanic, which sank during WWI near the Greek island of Kea.”
Patricia has sold over 325,000 copies of her books across all editions and rights have been sold in Norway, France, Greece, Serbia and Croatia. Her new book, Summer in Greece, follows solitary vet Summer on her escape to a beautiful Greek island where she discovers the memoirs of her great-grandmother, whose secret life will help Summer face her own tragic past.
