As Contracts and Business Affairs Director, Dan oversees the life-cycle of BBUK’s contracts, and partners with departments across the business to ensure colleagues have the business support they need when acquiring new books or managing relationships with creatives, agents, licensors and others.
Prior to starting at Bonnier in early 2025, Dan worked at literary agencies Curtis Brown and Peters, Fraser + Dunlop before joining West End producer Sonia Friedman Productions in 2019 to support their business affairs, contracts and rights management, and investor relations. He returned to the publishing industry in 2022 at the Orion division of Hachette UK, working as Senior Contracts Manager for most of his tenure there. In addition to getting stuck into the odd DIY project, Dan enjoys cooking for friends, reading, travel, and adding to his record collection.
