Leap, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, has acquired the first ever fitness guide and cookbook from husband-and-wife duo Joe & Rosie Wicks as part of a collaboration with The Body Coach, Six Weeks to Strength: 10 home workouts and 80 recipes to build a strong body.
Publisher Carole Tonkinson acquired World All Language rights from Nikki Wicks, CEO of The Body Coach, with publication of the new book planned for December 2026.
Inspired by The Body Coach app, Six Weeks to Strength combines practical fitness advice with 80 nutritious and easy recipes, to help you feel fitter, healthier and happier no matter where you are on your fitness journey. Focusing on the first six weeks, the book includes step-by-step home fitness routines using bodyweight or dumbbells as well as prep-ahead lunches and protein-rich dinners that you can fit around busy lives and family routines.
Whether you’re worried about muscle loss and bone density through ageing or simply find the gym inaccessible, this book will give you everything you need to get fit and make great food choices at home.
Joe and Rosie Wicks said: ‘We know how challenging it can be to find time for yourself when looking after young children and juggling work. We’ve designed this 6-week plan to show you that with just a short amount of time, you can build a strong and healthy body from home. We are excited to share our easy-to-follow home workouts alongside our favorite selection of healthy meals. We really believe this book can help you fit exercise into your life and help you gain all the fantastic benefits of strength training.’
Carole Tonkinson said: ‘It is abundantly clear that strength is the key to energy and health and quality of life over the long-term, and I can’t think of better ambassadors and teachers to help us all get stronger than Joe and Rosie Wicks.
