Together with Jonathan Perdoni, Sarah leads Bonnier Books UK as co-CEO, sharing responsibility for shaping the company’s strategy and ensuring its continued success. She also spearheads the Adult Trade division, steering its fiction and non-fiction imprints with a commitment to publishing books that represent all readers in the market.
Sarah has spent over twenty years in the industry, working with internationally bestselling brand authors and market-leading debuts alike.
She began her career in marketing and publicity, launching and growing authors such as Julia Donaldson, Ian Rankin, George R.R. Martin and Candice Carty-Williams. Sarah joined Hachette’s Orion in 2016, rising to deputy MD and playing a vital role in leading the company to win Publisher of the Year in 2021. She later became executive publisher for fiction, overseeing the commercial imprints and publishing authors such as Joanne Harris and Leigh Bardugo. She returned to Bonnier Books UK in 2023, having previously enjoyed a stint with our award-winning Hot Key Books imprint.
She lives in East London with her husband, young daughter and their two cats and also tries to fit in running the occasional 10k.
