Blink Publishing, the flagship commercial non-fiction imprint of Bonnier Book has acquired Lost Until Love: Learning to Find Myself Again by Love Island alumna Olivia Bowen.
Ciara Lloyd, publishing director, acquired UK & Commonwealth rights (including Canada) from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton on behalf of Freddy White and Megan Davies at Belle PR.
Olivia Bowen first rose to fame on the second season of Love Island UK in 2016, where she met her now husband, Alex Bowen. The couple are the longest standing success story in the show’s history and Olivia has established herself as one of the show’s most successful contestants, launching numerous fashion and home collections and most recently starring in her own ITV2 observational documentary series Olivia & Alex: Parenthood.
Olivia’s early years were peppered with family disruption and unhealthy relationships, where she suffered emotional abuse and battled depression and anxiety. In her new tell-all memoir, Lost Until Love, Olivia shares what life was like before Love Island, lifting the lid on the unseen bits, what the show taught her, and how she created a love-filled future as well as exploring her journey of motherhood and the loss of her twin daughter while pregnant. A love letter to Olivia’s younger self, Lost Until Love shows that even after hardship, we can cultivate lives full of hope, resilience, and love.
Olivia Bowen said: ‘It’s a dream come true to be publishing my book with Blink. I’ve never felt comfortable or confident enough to talk about the ten years after Love Island and just how much has changed. Olivia aged 20 would have said, “you don’t deserve it” or “you’ll never be good enough”. But here I am, and it’s a real “pinch –me” moment. I hope sharing my story will help readers to live unapologetically.’
Ciara Lloyd, publishing director said: ‘I’ve followed Olivia’s journey since Love Island for almost 10 years and have watched her become a successful businesswoman and now mother, navigating the world of celebrity with authenticity and a real strength of spirit. Olivia’s story is an inspiration for any young woman and as soon as we met, I knew she’d find the perfect home on our list here at Blink.’
Freddy White at Belle PR said: ‘Olivia has always been one of the most grounded and self-aware people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and this book captures that spirit beautifully. Lost Until Love is an honest and deeply human account of resilience, growth, and hope. Olivia has never shied away from sharing the real sides of her story, and this book is a testament to the strength, warmth, and relatability that have made her such an enduring and trusted voice to so many. We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Ciara, Blink, and the wider Bonnier team to bring her story to life.’
Lost Until Love: Learning to Find Myself Again will be published in July 2026.
